The steps of the process (Hollywood smile):

Step 1 - Consultation and Smile Assessment

During your consultation and smile evaluation, our cosmetic dentists will examine your teeth to establish if porcelain veneers are the right choice for you and explain the full extent of the makeover procedure.

In this consultation, you will discuss the preferred shape, length, width and color of your new teeth. This is an opportunity for patients to establish desired outcomes and expectations in advance.

Our dentist will take impressions and photographs of the patient's mouth, which will be used to develop temporary veneers and preview the digital smile design of your new Hollywood makeover for the second appointment.

This is done to ensure that our new patients are 100% satisfied with their new smile before committing.

Step 2 - Preview and Apply the Digital Smile

We create a set of temporary veneers based on the initial consultation requirements, which are ready to be applied if the patient goes ahead with this design. The preview of the digital smile design is also shown to the patient.

Our cosmetic dentists will begin working on the patient's teeth, removing a very thin layer (half a millimeter) of tooth enamel to make room for temporary veneers. Depending on the patient, local anesthesia may be used.

Once the removal process is complete, a new mold will be taken of your teeth and sent to our in-house lab where permanent porcelain veneers are designed and created.

Step 3 - Permanent Placement

On the third and final visit, your beautiful custom porcelain veneers are installed.

Our cosmetic dentist will place the veneers on your teeth for evaluation, and they may need to be cut or modified to ensure the perfect fit.

Once your veneers fit snugly, your teeth will be cleaned and polished and will have the etching to adhere to the cement that will permanently bond your veneers in place.

A high quality dental cement is applied to each veneer and then placed on your teeth. Once in position, our cosmetic dentist will use a special light on each veneer to harden the dental cement.

Once all of your veneers are installed, the excess dental cement will be removed, your bite assessed and you now have your very own Hollywood smile!

Step 4 - Follow-up

A few weeks after your procedure, a follow-up appointment is needed to make sure everything is perfect. We will check the patient's mouth, gums and porcelain veneers to see how everything is placed and responding to each other. Hopefully, you've officially had your "Hollywood" makeover
